We are no longer accepting proposals.

for her contact information. Although she is no longer employed by the Foundation,if she can be of any assistance to you,

please feel free to contact her. However, please do not send newsletters, annual reports, bulk mailings for email blasts to her home.

Dear Friends:

              On behalf of the Foundation’s officers, I wish to inform you that, effective December 31, 2007, The Spring Creek Foundation will cease operations.  We have completed our final round of grants. Although we have received tremendous satisfaction from serving the nonprofit community, the Board of Directors has decided it is time for the Foundation to sunset.

We wish to thank you for the effective work you have done to improve our community. The Directors of the Board of the Spring Creek Foundation have been deeply moved by the vision and dedication of the staff of Washington area nonprofit organizations and wish you continued success in your endeavors to bring beauty, justice, nurturing and hope to our region.

About the Foundation

 

The Spring Creek Foundation, Inc. was established in 1996 as a private grant-making foundation located in Washington, D.C.  Its purpose is to fund organizations in the Washington Metropolitan Area whose goals and programs benefit the human environment by providing assistance to individuals and families in housing, employment, education and emergency services; as well as organizations whose goals are the protection and enhancement of the natural environment.
